Saadani National Park is Tanzania's 13th National Park. Tourists can view animals basking along the Indian Ocean shores. It has an area of 1062 km2 and was officially gazetted in 2005, from a game reserve which had existed from 1969. It is the only wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania bordering the sea.

  ZANZIBAR TO SAADANI

  Depart 0945am from Zanzibar directly to Saadani arrival at 1000am, meet and greet then head to Wami River for a boat trip having a chance to see many wild animals along the river drinking water not forgetting giant crocodile and many birds species. Lunch at the river or Saadani Village, afternoon game drive in the park also having a chance to see Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Waterbuck, Lions, Leopards, Hyenas and many more, dinner and overnight TENT WITH A VIEW or TEMBO KIJANI or TANAPA COTTAGES

  FULL DAY SAADANI

  Early breakfast then game drive in the park see the beauty of the park that hosts a large population of hippos, crocodiles, flamingoes, and many large bird species. Giraffe and wildebeest can be spotted and elephants have been seen playing on the beach, game drive till late afternoon then drive to your lodge dinner and overnight at TENT WITH A VIEW or TEMBO KIJANI or TANAPA COTTAGES

  Early breakfast then game drive in the park see the beauty of the park that hosts a large population of hippos, crocodiles, flamingoes, and many large bird species. Giraffe, wildebeest, Elephant and many more wild animal, game drive till afternoon then drive airstrip for your flight at 0545pm arrival at 0600pm
