These are Arusha , Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti national parks and Ngorongoro craterMore than 600 different species of birds are found in each park. Some are endemic to specific parks. With different kinds of environments, from the savannas, rivers, lakes, swamps, marshes and forests of these parks, no doubt this is the best home of many species of African birds found nowhere else in the African continent, except only in Tanzania.

Itenarary

  • Day 1

    Arusha National Park

    Professional Guide, Private car, Lunch box from the hotel which will contain everything that you need for the day from sandwiches, chocolate, groundnuts, biscuits, fruits, juice, boiled egg, piece of cake Water/Juice, All Park fees

      • Day 2

        Arusha to Lake Manyara or Karatu town.

        We watch more birds in this beautiful park we expect to watch a lot of aquatic bird (water birds) forest and savanna birds like Dusky turtle dove, Palm-nut vulture, Egyptian vulture, Spur-winged plover, Madagascar pratincole, Chestnut-banded plover, Purple-crested Turaco, Taita fiscal, Southern black flycatcher, Silvery-cheeked hornbill, Red bill hornbill, Grey hornbill, Ground hornbill, Crested guinea fowl, African fish eagle, Black-winged stilt, African spoonbill, Egyptian goose. White pelican and Marabou stork. Afternoon have picnic lunch in Lake Manyara National Park where we will spend the night at the lodge called Endoro Lodge located in Karatu area.

          • Day 3

            Serengeti National Park (5-7hrs drive)

            This will be a long day in rough roads but it is very adventurous. We spend the night at the lodge in Lobo area

              • Day 4

                Serengeti

                We spend the whole day watching birds in Serengeti National park as dictated by bird movements. Serengeti is the paradise of birds more then 600 species have been recorded like Bare-faced go away bird, Western plantain eater, Fischer's lovebird, Brown parrot, Kori bustard, Secretary bird, Grey-headed social weaver, Speckled fronted weaver, Verreaux eagle, Hildebrandt's starling, Silverbird, Red throated tit, Pink-throated long claw, Cliff chat, Sooty chat, Grey breasted spurfowl, Usambiro barbet, White backed vulture, white headed vulture, Ruppels vulture, Nubian vulture, Lilac breasted roller, Von der Decken's Hornbill. In late Afternoon, we drive back to the Lodge and spend our night at central Serengeti area.

                  • Day 5

                    Serengeti

                    Another day we spend the whole day watching birds in Serengeti National park as dictated by bird movements, in late Afternoon, we drive back to the Lodge and spend our last night at Seronera area.

                      • Day 6

                        Serengeti to Ngorongoro.

                        After breakfast, we start our day. We continue to watch birds in Serengeti for the half day then we head to the Ngorongoro / Serengeti gate. We pay our park entrance fees and then we head to Ngorongoro conservation area for dinner and accommodation at Ngorongoro area.

                          • Day 7

                            Ngorongoro Crater.

                            We leave the lodge very early in the morning. We take packed lunch boxes with us safari in the crater for 4-6 hours.We expect to see many grassland and aquatic birds like Mountain green bull, Paradise flycatcher, Dusky flycatcher, White-eye salty flycatcher, Cinnamon-chested bee-eater, Augur buzzard (white and dark morph), Black saw wing, Grey-capped warbler, Black kite, Red-knobbed coot, Avocet, Black crown night heron, Anteater chat, Baglafecht weaver, Hunters cist cola, Red-rumped swallow, Montane nightjar, Schalows Turaco, Scaly Francolin, Golden-winged sunbird, Mountain yellow eye we will spend full day in the crater then we ascend and spend the night at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge.

                              • Day 8

                                Full day in Tarangire National Park.

                                We spend the whole day in this park watching birds a dictated by their movements like Ashy Starling, Violet-tipped courser, Heuglin's Courser, Orange-bellied parrot, Yellow-collared lovebird, Red & yellow barbet, Red-billed quelea, Mottle throated spine tail, Abyssinian Scimitarbill, Beautiful sunbird, Greater honeyguide, African Hawk-eagle, Black-shouldered kite, Black-chested snake eagle, Brown snake eagle, Open bill stork, White-faced tree duck, Goliath heron, Great white egret. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge.

                                  • Day 9

                                    Tarangire / Arusha.

                                    We spend half day in Tarangire watching birds, then we drive direct back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at Snow Crest.
